Films: Track of the Moon Beast (1976)
Alias: Paul Carlson
Type: Mutant (possibly also Mystical)
Location: Civilized area/p>
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Affiliation: Neutral
Summary: ONE. JOB. You had one job at making a legitimate movie with a lizard man...and you blew it. Thanks a bunch, you bums.
History: While observing a meteor shower, mineralogist Paul Carlson was struck by one of the fragments, presumably from the moon. Over the course of a few nights, he found himself being painfully turned into a lizard-like being every moonrise. There's some pseudo-Indian BS thrown in for good measure.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: Paul is eventually confronted on a road, and shot in the chest with a large arrow. After the film literally starts seeing red, he dies.
Powers/Abilities: None
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 1.5-This suit is just pathetic. Barely seen, shrouded in darkness, and utterly stiff and lifeless. A Halloween costume can do better than this.
Trivia: -The Moon Beast was played by Joe Blasco, a makeup artist who, in spite of his many talents and successful career, really should have known better than to associate with this freaking shambles.
-The script was written in less than two days. That should explain a lot.
